Gudrun Schou's Open-Air Stage

Since 1972, the local theatre association Palsgaard Sommerspil has performed musicals and theatre performances in Palsgaard Castle Park. Originally, the performances were performed in various places in the park, but since 1987 the Summer Play has been housed at Gudrun Schou's Open-Air Stage.

The open-air stage was designed by Professor Wilhelm Wohlert and built by the Schou Foundation, which owns Palsgaard Estate and Park, as a gift to Gudrun Schous on the occasion of her 80th birthday in 1986.
