BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN PALSGAARD CASTLE PARK

The stately horse stables

In 1915, architect Magdahl Nielsen built the famous stately horse stables according to strict instructions from Einar Viggo Schou, who collected information from catalogues all over Europe.

The stable is now home to the local theatre association Palsgaard Sommerspil, which uses it as a sewing room and storage of props for the annual summer play at Gudrun Schou's open-air stage in the castle park.

See pictures in the gallery below.

The building is conveniently located for Palsgaard Sommerspil, which uses it as a base.
