BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN PALSGAARD CASTLE PARK
The Swan House
The little yellow house, called the Swan House, was like so much else in the area built by Magdahl Nielsen. The house was adjacent to the Gardener's Residence and contained, among other things, the gardeners' toilet facilities. The name Svanehuset comes from the story that Elisabeth Schou had the house built so that the swans in the park could winter in the heat.
The gardener's house has been demolished, but the Swan House is still standing.
