Scottish pine tree

These Caledonian Pine trees come from seeds that Knud Brix brought home from Scotland and propelled in Palsgaard's greenhouses. Knud Brix, who had a degree in economics from Aarhus University, was hired in 1948 and led the company until 1992.

On Her Majesty Queen Magrethe's visit to Palsgaard in 2008, the company donated one of these trees to The Queen.
